cleansing & balancing the sacral chakra
You do not have to force flow, you can invite it.
The sacral chakra is connected to creativity, emotion, sensuality, pleasure, desire, and flow.
When this energy feels blocked or overwhelmed, you may feel emotionally stuck, creatively dry, disconnected from pleasure, or unsure what you truly want. This gentle mudra and mantra practice invites movement without pressure.
This is a practice for softening into your own creative current.
when it helps
This helps when I:
• feel creatively blocked
• have a difficult time accessing my emotions
• feel disconnected from pleasure or softness
• am trying to force inspiration
• want to reconnect with my body in a gentle way
• am preparing to write, cook, dance, sing, or create
how i do it
I sit comfortably and let my belly soften.
I place my hands in my lap, palms facing upward. My right hand rests inside my left hand, and my thumbs touch gently.
I breathe into the lower belly, hips, and pelvis without forcing anything to change.
Then I repeat softly or silently: Vam (pronounced: vum)
I imagine the sound moving like water through my lower belly and hips.
If emotion rises, I let it be there without needing to explain it.
If nothing happens, that is allowed too.
This practice is not about making myself more creative or more open. It is about giving my inner waters a safe place to move.
